Rudy Warnock has spent his entire adult life, in one way or another, preparing for this opportunity to serve you as our
Central District Transportation Commissioner. After finishing his education in civil engineering at
Mississippi State University, Rudy Warnock started the process of designing and building many of our local roads and bridges. As a trained and certified engineer, Rudy Warnock will never have to depend solely on the opinions of the
MDOT staff and outside firms to help him make the important decisions of where, when and how we should successfully build our transportation system. Rudy Warnock personally knows what it takes to design and build this much needed infrastructure. During his career Rudy Warnock has already designed over 40 bridges and built hundreds of miles of our local roadways right here in Mississippi. Rudy Warnock refuses to play politics with our road monies and he won't need any "on the job training" to get the job done for you!
